About BPRA – Zanzibar
The Zanzibar Business and Property Registration Agency (BPRA) is a government institution located in Zanzibar. It was established under Act No. 13 of 2012 to take over the functions of the Registrar General’s Office (RGO).
Currently headed by Mr.Khamis J. Khamis the BPRA operates under the Ministry of Trade and Industrial Development. The agency is responsible for various registration activities, including the registration of commercial and business entities as well as property registrations. All registrations are conducted in accordance with their respective legislations.
